It’s very difficult to believe that we have been here only
two and a half days! We arrived in Brest Thursday at 4:15 pm, an hour early!
Students went with their host families and teachers to our apartments. Of
course, we had to have a meeting to plan Friday.
And what a day Friday was! The students (stagiaires, en
français) took placement tests in the morning. We showed them the way to the
cafeteria for lunch, did a walking tour and had a photo scavenger hunt, all
before 3:00pm! My Fitbit says we walked 17,000 steps with the students!
They went home with families or we teachers showed them how
to use the tram and bus to return home. They have the weekend with host
families. We can’t wait to hear the stories of their adventures!
